In this section we will post information that can be used to help keep you and your family safe. This page is used for situations that do not rise to the level of becoming an Emergency Alert, those are posted under the Patrol Division 'Emergency Alerts'. Here you will be informed about things such as wild animals, possible crime trends that may affect you or our community, etc.
We are asking all of our residents, business owners, and visitors to our town, due to the Covid-19 health emergency, please only come to the police department for emergencies. Try to take care of as much as you can over the phone or via email as possible. We will use all methods of electronic communications as possible; i.e. telephone, emails, website, social media, etc. to help us provide services to you as possible. We want to limit the chance that our personnel will come in contact with someone who may have the virus. We want to avoid having to avoid our personnel going into quarantine unless absolutely necessary. We appreciate your assistance in this matter, we know we will all get through this, we just need a little assistance while we are in the middle of it.
Thank you, Chief Conley
Out of an abundance of caution, the Darby Road St. Patrick's Day festival that was scheduled from Friday March 13 to Sunday March 15 has been canceled.
This alert has gone out to all of our Law Enforcement personnel. We have to make sure that our officers are protected as best as they can so they stay healthy and can continue to serve the public. Please keep physical contact with our officers to a minimum. If you have any signs of a cold, the flu, etc., please make sure you tell our officers as well as any First Responders so that they can use the proper Personal Protective Equipment. Help us keep our officers safe and healthy so that they can help you!
