A resident in the 1200 block of Raritan Rd. reported their 2018 Ford Explorer stolen. The vehicle was left unlocked with the key in the center console inside an unlocked garage. The vehicle was entered stolen and was recovered by the Newark Police Department two days later. Under investigation.

A resident on Mountain Ave. reported fraudulent activity on a bank account. Under investigation.

A resident on Westfield Ave. reported the theft of a 2019 black Honda CRV during the overnight hours. The vehicle was entered stolen and was recovered by the Parsippany Police Department two days later. Under investigation.

A resident on E. Second St. reported that someone fraudulently opened a cellular account in their name. Under investigation.

A resident on Kipling Ln. reported he witnessed a black male run up his driveway and enter his Porsche Macam. He came out of the house and yelled at the suspect who got into the passenger seat of a blue BMW X5 which fled towards Rt. 22. Officers could not locate the BMW. Under investigation.

Kevin Kennedy Jr. Age. 31 of 96 Country Club Ln. Scotch Plains was arrested driving under the influence, Harassment, Disorderly conduct and Stalking. Kennedy was involved in a motor vehicle accident earlier in the day and afterwards placed phone calls to the officer’s house who handled the call. He additionally went to the officer’s house and exhibited alarming behavior. Officers were working on the incident when Kennedy drove into the rear lot of headquarters thru barricades to confront officers behind headquarters. He was arrested without incident, processed and transported to the Union County Jail.

Gabriela I. Yancha-Quinapanta Age. 40 of 315 21st St. Union City NJ was arrested for driving under the influence during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Ptlm. Mike Baltazar. Transported to headquarters and processed.

A resident on Lake Ave. reported damage to their vehicle which occurred during the overnight hours. Under investigation.
